Standing all alone
Sometimes
a branch may pass
but my roots
depend on me
my reach
depends on me
A gardener may come
trim a branch
throw down some food
A storm may come
tear at my sides
But, I am alone
Reaching out
for Sun
for rain
Not really knowing
the other trees
all lonely and still
